asepsis: means the absence of disease-producing microorganisms
Aseptic technique is the effort taken to keep the patient as free from
hospital micro-organisms as possible.

Types of Asepsis Technique
1-Medical asepsis. & 2-Surgical asepsis.
1-Medical asepsis or Clean Asepsis:
A- reduces the number of organisms & prevents their
spread.
B- routine care: break the infection chain.
C--changing client’s bed linen daily
D-hand washing
E-routine environmental cleaning.
F-Isolation technique
[Clients with high susceptibility to infection require
special precautions]

piece of gauze]
