Entrepreneurship
What is Ideation?
● Ideation is a creative process that involves generating, developing, and refining new
business ideas or concepts.
● It is the initial stage in the creation of a new venture
● where entrepreneurs brainstorm potential solutions to problems, identify
opportunities, and explore various ways to bring an innovative product, service, or
business model to life.
● Its a key part of design thinking process which helps entrepreneurs and executives
identify problems and find solutions.
, During ideation, entrepreneurs often:
1. Identify problems or unmet needs in the market.
2. Brainstorm potential solutions or ideas to address these
gaps.
3. Validate ideas through research or feedback from
potential customers.
4. Refine and iterate on ideas to create a viable business
concept.
Ideation is a critical phase because it sets the foundation for
everything that follows, including market research, product
development, and business planning.
