Purpose and focus of campaign
Main campaigners
Local, national or global
Methods used/celebrity endorsement
Success of campaign

P1 - Aim

C1 + C2 are similar, C3 different

BLM (c1) + Metoo (c2), sarahs law (c3)

AC2.1

P1 : aim
Two similar campaigns + one different campaign Must include ur own campaign

E.g
Sarah’s law + clares law - introducing new legislation, asking police to disclose any
information
Lillian's law - extension of a law, not asking the police to disclose any information

P3 - Methods

Sarah’s law + clares law - newspapers, speeches
BLM - Protests, social media + my own law

There are a range of different methods campaigns have used for change. For example,
Clare’s Law exposed their campaign to the public through the use of National newspapers
and speeches by highlighting the case of Clare Wood who was murdered by her ex
boyfriend. This is similar to Sarah’s Law who used the Newspaper “News Of The World”
which “name and Shamed” sex offenders in the area so that the public could be aware.
These are different to the methods used by the BLM campaign which primarily focused on
large scale protests near government buildings, statues that depicted previous slave owners
and social media to promote these events like Twitter, Instagram, Facebook as well as to
promote themselves to the public and to the world.

P4 - Success
BLM + MeToo - very impactful with society
StopAsianHate - not very impactful, remembered enough + my own law

P2 - main campaigners

,sarah’s law + clare’s law - individuals affected by the incident
BLM - not always affected by the reason for the campaign + my own law
