Golden Years Mental Health Services is a dedicated agency located in the heart of
Bradenton, Florida, that focuses on offering comprehensive services for older adults suffering
from depression. Recognizing the myriad transitions senior citizens face—including retirement,
loss, and changes in physical health—it is clear these issues can have a significant impact on
mental health. The Older Adult Depression Program is specially designed to address the specific
needs of this group, employing individualized care plans that acknowledge and honor their life
experiences. Our evidence-based practices include Interpersonal Psychotherapy (IPT), proven to
reduce depressive symptoms in older adults. At Golden Years Mental Health Services, a group of
