Scoops Up!
The brand is inspired by Thumbs Up Ice Cream, a well-known brand in
the Philippines known for its unique mini ice cream cones. Thumbs Up Ice
Cream was launched with the support of actor Dominic Ochoa, who partnered
with Metro Grind Corporation.
Thumbs Up Ice Cream eventually ceased operations. The reasons
behind this closure remain unclear, as no official statements were released.
Many concerns remain unanswered due to the lack of transparency, such as
whether market competition, financial issues, or other challenges had played
a part in its end. Thumbs Up Ice Cream remains a nostalgic part of many
Filipinos' childhood memories. The brand's colorful mini cones and fun appeal
