, What is Tort Law ?
Tort law deals with civil wrongs
where a person's actions unfairly
cause someone else to suffer loss or
harm.
Therefore, the purpose of tort law is
to compensate the injured party,
not to punish the wrongdoer (like
in criminal law).
Example: If someone hits your
parked car and drives off, you can
sue them for damages under tort
law.
Tort = A civil wrong. If someone harms you,
you can claim compensation ELSS
