Conditions of Tender
1. Interpretation
“Principal” refers to the department or agency issuing the Request for Tender (RFT).
“Tenderer” refers to the company or person submitting the tender.
“Contract” means the final agreement formed between the Principal and the successful
Tenderer.
2. Lodgement of Tender
Tenders must be lodged before the closing time and date stated in the RFT.
Late tenders may not be considered, except at the Principal’s discretion.
Tenders may be submitted via:
o Physical delivery to the Tender Box
o Email or electronic upload via the approved portal
o Facsimile (if permitted)
3. Validity Period
All tenders must remain valid and open for acceptance for a minimum of 90 calendar days
from the closing date.
4. Tender Documents
Tenderers must carefully examine all documents provided.
Any clarification requests must be submitted in writing to the Contact Officer prior to 5
business days before closing.
The Principal is not responsible for any assumptions made by the Tenderer
5. Tenderer’s Responsibilities
Tenderers must ensure:
o Compliance with all relevant building codes, standards, and legislation
o Possession of appropriate licences, insurances, and accreditations
o Accurate cost estimation and pricing
o No conflict of interest exists or will arise
