required to apply the understanding and applying the knowledge of the Federal
system, sources of law and the trial system for resolving disputes.



BSBXCM401 – Apply communication strategies in the workplace. The skills and
knowledge required to facilitate and apply communication strategies in the
workplace within any industry.



NAT1097001- Apply information and referral advice on justice related issues.
Skills and knowledge required to communicate justice related information and to
provide referral advice on relevant support agencies to internal and external
clients. It requires knowledge of the law-making process, the skills to source and
analyse justice related information and effective oral and written communication
skills to respond to client enquiries



NAT10971002 – Prepare documentation for court proceedings. Skills and
knowledge required to prepare a range of documentation related to bail and
criminal proceedings. This requires knowledge of organizational procedures and
relevant legislation and the skills to source and accurately complete a range of
legal documents.



PSPLEG006 – Encourage compliance with legislation in the public sector. The
performance outcomes, skills and knowledge required to encourage colleagues
in the workplace to comply with legislation. This unit applies to those working in
generalist or specialist work roles where they need to identify, understand and
comply with the legislative environment within which they work. Those
undertaking this unit may work independently with some supervisory
responsibilities while performing complex tasks in familiar contexts.
