, Definition:
Narration refers to the way we report what someone else
has said. There are two types:
1.Direct Speech – The exact words spoken are quoted
and enclosed in inverted commas.
2.Indirect Speech – The speech is reported without
quoting the exact words, and grammatical changes
are made.
Importance of Narration:
● Helps in reporting conversations accurately.
● Essential in writing (stories, news, academic essays).
