following steps:
1. Graduate from an approved college
with a massage therapy diploma
-a list of colleges within Ontario can be found on
the CMTO website
-graduates from colleges outside of Ontario must
complete a Credential and Prior Learning
Assessment (CPLA)
2.Confirm the date your college will send a list of
graduates to the CMTO
-the earliest examinations can be performed is
14 days after the CMTO receives a list of
graduates
from your college
3. Read through the Examination
Candidate Handbook and choose
applicable dates
BECOMING AN RMT IN 4.Apply to participate in the
ONTARIO Certification Examinations - both the
OSCE (Objectively Structured
Clinical Evaluation) and the MCQ (Multiple Choice
Questionnaire) - submit any relevant
documents and fees (OSCE = $700; MCQ = $500)
5.Succeed in both the OSCE and MCQ (scores
of at least 70% in each); OSCE results are
emailed within 6 weeks, MCQ results are emailed
within 2 weeks
