Summary OCR GCSE - Virgil's Aeneid Book I annotations
This booklet contains annotations and analysis from all the Aeneid Book I sections that are part of the OCR GCSE Latin syllabus. There is only Latin that is annotated in this booklet which simulates what it will be like in the exam. I have tried to make my notes as detailed as possible and have included not only class notes and points but also my own personal analysis (for context, I received a high 9 in the Latin GCSE exam and take Latin A-level). All the annotations in the booklet greatly helped me memorise many style points for the 8-marker question and saved a lot of time in the Literature exam. These notes were fundamental to helping me pass GCSE Latin this year and I hope that they do the same for you! NB: I have used various abbreviations in my notes - "w/o" is word order, "w/c" is word choice, "e/p" is emphatic placement, "enj" is enjambment. Please tell me if there is anything that you can't read/understand!
