Healthy people 2010/2020 is a comprehensive set of national ten-year
health objectives. A framework for public health priorities and actions.
Addresses disease prevention and health promotion issues of national,
public health significance. Provides science/evidence-based objectives
and targets. Data driven and measures progress over time (10-year span).
Designed to drive action to improve health, and is a collaborative process.
