, INTRODUCTION
• The hip joint, or coxofemoral joint or femroacetabular join
the the acetabulum of the pelvis and the head of the femur
• These two segments form a
diarthrodial ball-and-socket joint .
• They have three degrees of motion (where pelvis is fixed ,
femur is moving)
1. Flexion / Extension
2. Abduction/ Adduction
3. Medial Rotation/ Lateral Rotation
