Sinus Tachycardia ANS: Rate: 101-149
Rythm: regular/regular.
P Shape: upright, round, 1:1, & similar.
PRI: .12-.2 seconds (3-5 boxes).
QRS: .12 seconds or less (less than 3 boxes).
Sinus Bradycardia ANS: Rate: less than 60.
Rythm: regular/regular.
P Shape: upright, round, 1:1, & similar.

QRS: WIDE, (.12 seconds or greater).
NOTE: think of, "tombstones."
Ventricular Fibrillation ANS: Rate: 150+
Rhythm: Regular.
P Shape: No P Wave.
QRS: Wide, & bizarre.
NOTE: the ventricles are "fibrillating."
,Asystole ANS: Rate: 0
Rhythm: Regular.
P Shape: NONE, (No P-Wave).
PRI: N/A
QRS: N/A
1st Degree Heart Block
**(The PRI interval is the most important key with heart blocks)** ANS: Rate: any.
Rhythm: Regular.
P Shape: Normal.
PRI: PRI's are the SAME LENGTH, the PRI length is constant. (5+ boxes).
QRS: Normal.
2nd Degree Heart Block Type 1 (Weinkibach)
**(The PRI interval is the most important key with heart blocks)** ANS: Rate: any.
Rhythm: Atrial regular, Ventricle Irregular.
P Shape: Normal.
PRI: PRI interval increases until it drops the QRS then the pattern repeats itself.
QRS: irregular.
2nd Degree Heart Block Type 2 (Mobitz 2)
**(The PRI interval is the most important key with heart blocks)** ANS: Rate: any, but often slow.
Rhythm: Regular or Irregular.
P Shape: 1 P wave has no QRS. P wave is REGULAR.
, PRI: each PRI is the SAME regards of the length/distance.
QRS: Normal or Wide.
NOTE: Patient needs a pacemaker.
3rd Degree Heart Block (Complete Heart Block)

Rhythm: Regular.
P Shape: P waves are present.
PRI: PRI gaps are ALL DIFFERENT. (Example; Some 1 box, some 3 box's, some 6 boxes, some gaps are 2
boxes ect.)
QRS: QRS rhythm is regular.
Wandering Atrial Pacemaker (WAP) ANS: Rate: usually 60-100
Rhythm: Irregular.
P Shape: 3 DIFFERENT shape P waves.
QRS: 0.11 seconds or less.
NOTE: if the heart rate is 100+ it is called multi-focal WAP.
Ventricular Stanstill ANS: Rate:
Rhythm: regular/irregular.
P Shape: 1 P wave without a QRS
