MCQs for Entry Tests
With Answers & Smart Exam Tips
By Aliza Chattha
NOTE :
Many entrance exams like MCAT, MDCAT, NEET, IMAT, UCAT, A-Level
Biology, and others ask questions from the Krebs Cycle — but not
always in direct or simple language.
Examiners often change the wording or question style to confuse you.
You may know the concept, but if you misread the question, you'll lose
marks. So, read carefully and understand what’s being asked.
For Example:
If you learned:
➡️ "Citrate is the first stable product of the cycle."
The exam may ask:
➡️"Which step forms citrate?"
➡️"Citrate is produced by the combination of which molecules?"
🧠 Quick Smart Tips:
✔ Eliminate obviously wrong options first — saves time & boosts
accuracy.
✔ Watch out for "EXCEPT", "NOT", or "FALSE" type words — they flip
the question.
✔ Don’t panic on tricky wording — recall the concept, not just the line.
