Testing RP - Correct Answers -1.Notify Identify Insepct Observe
2.Flush Test Cocks 4,3,2,1
3. Attach high side hose to TC2, low side hose to TC3
4. Open TC3 open low side bleed. Open TC2 open high side bleed
5. Close shut off valve 2. Close high side bleed. Close low side bleed.
6. Open high side control 1 full turn, open low side control 1/4 turn. Record what PSI
relief valve opens.
7. Close low side control. Attach bypass hose to TC4. Open TC4.
8. Open low side bleed until reading is at max, then close.
9. Open bypass control needle valve. Once reading is steady, record as "closed tight"
for check valve #2.
10. Open low side bleed until reading is at max, then close. Once reading settles, record
as check valve #1 reading.
11. Close TCs, open shut off valve #2, remove equipment.

What readings does an RP have to have to pass? - Correct Answers -Relief valve: 2.0
PSI or greater
Check valve 2: closed tight
Check valve 1: greater then relief valve opening point, greater then 5.0 PSI or greater
