Case 1: Ms. W, 30 years old, has not worked for 2 years to take care of her
children. She has poor sleep quality since then. After her
children returned to their hometown, she found a job in a company as a
programming technician. After 2 months of employment, she felt
dizzy due to poor sleep and was not in the right state to do things. She often
needed to stop and walk out to get some fresh air.
She could not continue to work because of the heavy workload. She said that she
often had "hair problems". She went to the hospitalfor examination for physiological
diseases.
W: Seeing that others are doing well, I am worried that I will fall behind, but seeing
the work tasks makes my scalp tingle and my neck stiff.I want to sleep but can't
when I get home. I am very worried that I won't be able to sleep every day. I feel
scared when I see the bed. I toss and turn and still can't fall asleep.
, Case 2: Ms. Y, 32 years old, has worked in the same statistical position in a bank for 4
years. Now she is seriouslyprocrastinating. She is busy at work and works overtime after
work. She cannot start work but has to rush to meet deadlines. She procrastinates before
going to bed and suffers from chronic sleep deprivation. The problem she is looking for is
how to sleep and how to work.
Y: I feel anxious every day when I sit in front of the computer. I am in an anxious state. I
read novels crazily online and I am not satisfied until 2 or 3 in the middle of the night. I am
seriously sleep deprived. However, I feel anxious again when I go to work the next day and
cannot concentrate on my work.
