Law passed in 2010 for a major regulatory reform of us healthcare this is also known as
obamacare. It allows dependents to be covered by thier parents insurance until their 16. It's to
make sure that people can get treatment when needed.

- attend the HOSA Project Display Time for this event
- team members will stand with their display and share research with conference delegates
- competitors must present their photo ID prior to ALL competition rounds

no equipment except tables will be provided

competitors must be in official HOSA uniform or in proper business attire, bonus points awarded

must be active members of HOSA, familiar & adhere with general rules and regulations of
HOSA competitive events, team of two, report at designated time with photo ID

must stand alone w/o battery or electricity use of any kind
what happens in round 1
judges judge display boards after the 15 minute setup time. they examine the display board
strictly on the information that is written on them. no competitors are present during this time
and there is no oral explanation
who will view the displays in round one?
only the judges, no competitors present
what is round one generally judging on?
judges judge how effectively the posterboard display informs others about the career/career
cluster without any oral explanation

how long does the team have to assemble the display BEFORE round 1?

what is the assembly time for?
the time for assembly is to set up the project the team has completed. assembly time is before
round 1
should the display be completely finished before the competition?
the display and its parts must be completed
what will determine how many teams move onto round two?
determined by criteria met in round one and space available for round two. the top teams from
each age division from round 1 will move to round 2's oral presentation
