Service concept definitie = een serviceconcept is een organisatie breed en begrepen idee over de
service die gebonden en ontvangen wordt en geeft informatie over:
Wat de service betekent voor de klant
- De service ervaring (experience)
- Het service resultaat (Outcome)
- De service levering (Delivery)
- De waarde van de service (Value)

Waarom service concept?
- Dienstverlening
- Omgeving  kleur/netheid
- Geluid
- Klantvriendelijkheid
- Verschil per individu

Drie onderdelen waardoor verwachting ontstaat:
 Mond tot mond
 Personal needs
o Ontspanning
o Interesse
 Past experience

Gapmodel = ervoor om te kijken waar het mis gaat bij een service.
Gap 1 = Knowledge gap (management denkt te weten wat de klant wilt)
Gap 2 = Standard gap (proces is niet goed uitgedacht)
Gap 3 = delivery gap (alles wat fout kan gaan in het daadwerkelijk leveren van de dienst zelf)
Gap 4 = Positioning gap (door communicatie stijgen verwachtingen die vervolgens niet nageleefd
kunnen worden)
Gap 5 = als je iets verwacht, en het wordt niet geleverd (Verwachting  ervaring)

o Kids
 Happy meal
 Speelplaats
o Stoners
o Opa’s en Oma’s
