VISUAL ANALYSIS
The Hay Wain shows a normal farm scene with people
going about their daily activities, painted in natural
colours. He adds in man made objects such as the
house on the bank, the wagon, and the Wain, however
these do not take away from the natural beauty of the
scene, likely a reason why Constable chose to paint it in
the first place. Here, there is no one focal point as this
