External Ear (Auricle + External Auditory Canal) Auricle: Elastic cartilage covered by skin with hair follicles, sebaceous & sweat glands. External auditory canal: Lined by stratified squamous epithelium; contains ceruminous glands (modified sweat glands producing earwax). --- 2. Middle Ear (Tympanic Cavity + Ossicles) Tympanic membrane: Outer surface → stratified squamous epithelium.
