Supporting cells: Sertoli cells (tcolumnar epithelium with long stereocilia. Circular smooth muscle in wall. Lumen: irregular, lined by pseudostratified columnar epithelium with stereocilia. Thick muscular coat (inner longitudinal, middle circular, outer longitudinal). Tubuloalveolar, lined by simple columnar to pseudostratified epithelium. Surrounded by fibromuscular stroma. Corpora amylacea (calcified secretions) often present in older men. Highly folded mucosa, forming crypts and papillae. Lined by pseudostratified columnar epithelium. Muscular wall present. Secretes fructose-rich fluid → energy for sperm.
