1. What is the target form of the first Affirmative Form (Conditional Clause): If + Present Simple, + subject + will + verb
conditional (both clauses)? (F) E.g., If it does not rain, I will go for a hike.
2. What is the model sentence you will elicit I will begin by eliciting a question (based on one of the student’s example in
to begin your presentation? warmer) and ask about, “What will you do if it rains tomorrow?” then from there
elicit the affirmative: “If it rains tomorrow, I will watch a movie at home.”
3. What are the negative and question Model sentence in negative form: If it doesn’t rain tomorrow, I will do the
(interrogative) forms of your model washing. Form: If + subject + Do/does not + Present simple + subject + will (not) +
sentence? verb (infinitive)
(You might find there is more than one Model sentence in question form: What will you do if it rains tomorrow? Form:
possibility, but you only need to show one Interrogative + will (future simple) + subject + verb (infinitive) + if + Present Simple

4. What is the function? (M) To discuss the actions/events that are likely to happen in the future. The likeliness
of its happening is not 100%, but there is a possibility of happening.
