1.who was shahwaliullah?
Shah waliullah was the first muslim reformer in early 18th century.
He was born in 1703.
Shahwaliullah invited ahmed shah abdali from Afghanistan to defeat
marathas in the battle of panipat in 1761 .
He translated quran in to Persian.
He died in 1762.
2.what was hujjat-ul-baligha and izzalat-ul-akhfa?
Hujjat-ul-baligha and izzalat-ul akhfa are 2 books among the 51 books
written by shahwaliullah .
In hujjat-ul-baligha, he wrote about the fundamentals of Islam.
In this, he also demonstrated how an ideal muslim society can be
established by acting upon Quran.
In izzalat-ul-akhfa, he wrote the commentary and explanation of Quran

Ahmad Shah Abdali was an afghan general, a military genius who had

Ahmed shah abdali with Najibullah and shuja-ud-daula defeated Marathas
in the battle of paniput in 1761 on the invitation of shahwaliullah.
Ahmad shah abdali was the founder of durrani empire.

Marathas were sounth indian hindus.
Marathan empire was led by shivaji.
They were defeated in 3rd battle of panipat in 1761 by Ahmad shah abdali.
Their leaders were called peshwas.
, They remained a challenge for Aurangzeb.

Shivaji was a marathon leader and founder of Marathan empire.
In 1646,he took control of some parts of india suach as surat and deccan.
He remained a challenge for Aurangzeb.
He was defeated by Aurangzeb in 1665.
He died in 1689.

Battle of panipat was fought on 17 january in 1761 in panipat.
It was fought between marathas and ahmad shah abdali along with shuja-
ud-daula and najibullah.
It was won by ahmad shah abdali .
In this battla the marathon peshwa’s sons were killed that’ why marathas
collapsed.
7.what was madarssa-e-rahimiya?
Madarssa-e-rahimiya was established by shah Abdur-Rahim,father of
shahwaliullah.
It was a school of Islamic teachings.
In1718,shahwaliullah started teaching in madarssa-e-rahimia after his
father’s death.
Syed ahmad shahid barelvi enrolled in this madarssa in 1808and studied
under the son of shahwaliullah ,shah abdul aziz.

Promoted his message through writings, translated the Holy Quran into
Persian which would enable more people read it . [2]
