Foreign nationals may submit an application package for a study permit by doing one of the
following:
#applying online (electronic applications [e-apps]) applying
through a visa application centre (VAC)
Renewal of study permit R217(1) -- ANSWER--a foreign national may apply renew SP if:
a. The application is made before the expiry of their SP
b. They have complied with all conditions imposed on their entry into Canada
c. They are in good standing at the education institution at which they have been studying.
And the application can be made from within Canada
Study Permit with prerequisite course -- ANSWER--Students taking a prerequisite course or
program of study may work on campus provided they meet all other eligibility requirements.
They are not eligible to work off campus while completing their prerequisite.
