Society is made up of social groups that interact with each other to keep society fun
people are apart of more than one social group.
- Inequality can arise in these areas of society. Unequal treatment of individuals can b
family, workplaces and many other areas.
CLASS:
Aristocrats may be able to get a high paying job due to nepotism and money that’s bee
good education, to have those qualifications that businesses require to get those high
- However working class (proletariat) don’t get those opportunities due to the fact the
education and don’t have the connections to have a high income paying job.
Gender:
Some females may face gender inequality in work due to the fact they aren’t seen as
job. They may also be payed less than a male working the same jobs. Employers may a
thinking of having children and they may not employ them due to them wanting a fam
- However men may also face gender inequality due to them being emotionless. For e.g
hire females for counsellors and therapists because they know emotions and don’t “hi
wont employ men because they believe women can do the job better.
Ethnicity:
Ethnic minorities may experience inequality through racism. For e.g: certain police forc
racially profile a black person due to racism or may have a certain description of a pe
