know that when you are mixing medication in a syringe - safety measures -

Mixing s/b done with proven compatibility
Only NPH can be mixed w/ short acting
Regular, Lispro, aspart & glulisine
Short acting in syringe 1st to avoid contamination stock vial of short w/ NPH
Mixtures are stable x 28 days
