What is the United Brand and how would you represent it? - -The united brand to me is
reliable, warm, and welcoming, it means respect and an overall commitment to excellence. I
would represent United by striving to go above and beyond expectations and deliver a
better experience for our customers with each flight.
-Tell us about an incident at work that you wish you would've done differently - -I once
forgot to reserve a meeting space for an upcoming interdepartmental meeting and because
I hadn't done so in advance all of the meeting spaces were filled. I immediately emailed
everyone who would be attending about the blunder and suggested the cafeteria instead
which turned out to be a better than expected I also purchased yummy snacks which I
passed out to everyone as an apology for the inconvenience.
-The plane is ready for takeoff and all electronic devices must be turned off and all trays
must be up. A passenger will not put away his laptop, what do you do? - -I would explain
the reason why we have this rule and politely ask them again to comply and explain how
not doing so could inconvenience other passengers
-How did I handle a tough customer? - -If the customer had concerns that were bothering
them I would answer and explain everything to the best of my abilities. While ensuring
them of the ideal outcome and keeping their spirit up with a smile. This usually calms even
the most confrontational of customers.
-What was your favorite job? - -My favorite job was Dairy Queen were I worked as a
cashier and I enjoyed how happy families especially children were when they enjoyed our
product.
-Why do you want to be a flight attendant? - -Well I understand that flight attendants do
more than just serve food and drinks. What makes United United is how welcoming and
warm we you are to customers. And making sure above all the customer feels respected
important and safe. These are all things I have previous experience with and that I hope to
do more of in the future.
-What is one character trait I would change about myself? - -I am big on detail/perfection
especially when it comes to my work so sometimes I wish I wasn't as hard on myself when
it doesn't involve work
-How have I motivated a fellow coworker in the past? - -I have definitely encouraged
collaboration like say for example we have different task maybe we help each other where
possible or even a friendly competition whatever seemed to interest them the most
