Change dressing & tubing under aseptic technique.
Monitor incision & IV site for: pain, redness, swelling, & drainage
Look at surgical dressing for bleeding, drainage, & odor every 4
hours for 24 hours
Avoid deodorant & talcum powder on affected side until healed
