Driver - Answers Person who drives a vehicle on a highway
Highway - Answers Any part of which is intended for or used by the general public for the
passage of vehicles and includes the area between the lateral property lines thereof
fence line to fence line

Authority to Stop Vehicles Section - Answers HTA 216(1): Police officer in lawful execution of
his or her duties MAY require the driver of a vehicle to stop, AND the driver of the vehicle when
signalled by a readily identifiable Officer SHALL immediately stop safely
Authority to Search Vehicle after Stop - Answers HTA 48(1): Readily identifiable Officer MAY
require the driver to stop for the purpose of determining whether or not there is evidence to
justify making a demand under second 320.28/28 of CC
