federal system in India?

Federalism is a system of government in which powers have been
divided between the centre and its constituent parts such as states
or provinces.
•India is called a federal country because it has a federal system of
government. A federal system of government is a system in which
powers are divided between a central government and state
governments. In India, the central government has certain powers,
while the state governments have certain powers.
•India doesn't follow a rigid form of the federal system. Truly
unique in its nature, it is rather a blend of federal form and unitary
form of government.
