INTRODUCTION:
Plug tray nursery technique is such a technique
in which ensures raising a large number of
quality seedlings in minimum space with low
cost inucurred.
In plug tray small sized seedling are grown in
tray for expanded polystyrene or polythene
filled usually with a peat or compost substrate.
In controlled conditions vegetables are raised
during the important formative period ( the
first 4-6 weeks) which can help to ensure plant
health and help plants to reach their maximum
potential during the harvest or blooming
period.
In India maximum vegetables are mainly sown
by seed during the normal season of
