Waarom besteden we aandacht aan SHRM ?
 SHRM gaat over waarde toevoegen aan/ verbeteren van de performance van een organisatie
 SHRM richt zich op het verband tussen organisatie(strategie) en HRM
 Organisatiestrategie is synoniem voor de
‘business strategy’ of ‘competitive strategy’, het realiseren van concurrentievoordeel
 Het gaat er dus om HRM zodanig in te richten dat de organisatiestrategie kan worden
gerealiseerd op een financieel-economische en een sociaal-rechtvaardige manier


Voor een goed SHRM is het dus nodig dat we begrijpen
 Wat organisatiestrategie inhoudt
 Hoe het verband eruit ziet tussen organisatiestrategie en de verschillende niveaus van HRM
 Hoe medewerkers daarbij van belang zijn
 Wat de belangrijkste indicatoren zijn van een effectief SHRM
 Hoe we SHRM toekomstgericht kunnen vormgeven
 Hoe samenhang tussen deze thema’s er uit kan zien
 Welke eisen aan ons als HR-professional worden gesteld
 Waarom SHRM er echt toe doet!

In willekeurige volgorde:
 HR-cyclus (Fombrun, 1984) : samenhang tussen de kerninstrumenten van HRM gericht op
functioneren medewerker
 Integraal model (Noomen, 2015) de wisselwerking tussen omgeving, organisatiecontext,
sociaal beleid en HR-instrumenten
 Outside-in, inside-out
 Organisatiespecifiek HRM, oppervlaktelaag en basislaag (Looise, 2015), gedifferentieerd HRM
(Collou, 2018)
 Verticale en horizontale samenhang, bundels
Het integraal model dat we hiermee hebben aangevuld (zie hiernaast) gaan we niet meer gebruiken

gebouw en een cultuur. De externe markt is de omgeving en de buitenwereld.

Porter: gericht op vergelijken met de concurrent / concurrentievoordeel; bedrijf moet kiezen uit:
 Unieke waarde: onderscheiden voor hogere prijs
 Kosten: lage kosten, aanvaardbaar product
 Focus: zoeken naar niche, bijv. op doelgroep
