Mr. Roberts classroom conducive to self- regulated learning and independent learners because he has flexible seating that
encourages independence, stations for student collaboration, he does one on one with his students to provide feedback, and
goal setting. Mr. Robert also had multiple tasks throughout the day that encourages independence such as his morning routine
where they come in and put away their things and get started on the morning work, His classroom jobs, and his transition song.

Some of the best practices for communicating learning objectives to students would be to talk about the objective before the
lesson and again after, have the objective written on the board for the student to reference during the lesson, posted on a
bulletin board in the room.
