God's Love - John 3:16-21
Sermon Introduction
One of my favorite classic Christmas movies that play every year is “The Bishops Wife
starring Cary Grant who stars as an angel who has come to help out a bishop David Niven who
has lost his way. At the very end of the movie the Bishop has repented for his mistaken ways”
and As a minister, I always enjoyed the part preacher’s sermon which was written by the angel
for him, I would like to begin this sermon on God Love by retelling you the famous sermon
scene from the movie “Tonight I want to tell you the story of an empty stocking. Once upon a
midnight clear, there was a child's cry, a blazing star hung over a stable, and wise men came with
birthday gifts.We haven't forgotten that night down the centuries. We celebrate it with stars on
