students with other students who are on the same literacy level allowing them to work better with

Stations” As stated, this activity at times would utilize a free writing concept where the students
would be allowed to write about whatever they wanted. Now on some days there would be free
writing based on the text being read within the class. This provides variety in the way of writing
and structure which is needed when developing literacy throughout all grade levels.
