I researched five different church websites looking at how they used social media and what
other forms of digital communication they offered. A couple of these ministries I already was
familiar with,but I had not researched their social media operations. I looked at the Potters House
Church, Lakewood Church, Perry Stone Ministries, Bishop Noel Jones Ministries, Freshword
Kingdom Assembly. Four of the five ministries have a large digital operation that can reach
people throughout the world so listing them in order size and content was the challenging part,
looking at all of their websites each of the four,The Potters House Church, Lakewood Church,
Perry Stone Ministries, Bishop Noel Jones Ministries,advertise live streaming, reordered
services, radio broadcasting, books, mp3's and DVDs.
Right now, the entire world has been negatively affected by this Pandemic, so it is more
imperative now than ever to bring the word of God to every part the world, the ecosphereneeds
the churches social media presence to be released using different sources that make each of these
ministries effective. Looking at each of these ministries websites and publications you can tell
that each of them has a large budgeted program using social media, the four of them are using
services like Internet streaming, TV distribution, Radio broadcasting, Facebook, Twitter, Books,
Newsletters, Online Calendars to let everyone know the churches schedule, several of these four
have their church services translated into Spanish broadcast, of course, these four are considered
by many to be Mega-Churches, meaning they have weekly services of 2000 or more church
parishioners.
The most ineffective social media church was Freshword Kingdom Assembly, comparing
their ministry to the other four does not seem fair because Freshword only has a congregation of
