POS 500 Board Meeting FE.docx Grand Canyon University POS-500 I was able to œattend the Salt Lake City School District board meeting of August 11, 2020. Due to the state of COVID-19 the session was recorded and attended via zoom. The purpose of this meeting was to discuss the reopening plan Salt Lake School District had put in place. The meeting was loaded with so much information that had I not payed extreme close attention, I would not have remembered much. Just listening would not have been best, so it is nice that it could be watched. The board discussed the goals they would like to see accomplished, which happened to be quality learning, and the schools staying open as safe and as long as possible. Given that COVID-19 has suddenly switched course in Utah, the state has needed to make changes for the safety of the state, and especially the students. The board discussed the current numbers coming from the
