In this essay, I will be discussing a case study involving Johnny, a 9-year-old boy who
was brought to the ER. Johnny was transported by a crisis mobile team who was called by the
school. Johnny has no acute or chronic medical concerns and Johnny has had several visits to
the principal's office due to disruptive behavior. Teachers have tried to redirect his behavior
however he yells and uses bad language and when the teacher grabbed Johnny to take him to
the principal’s office, he stabbed his teacher in the arm with a pencil. Because of this
behavior both his parents and police were called, and the police determined that a crisis
mobile team should be called in as he is currently a danger to others. As Johnny’s crisis
therapist, one will assess his symptoms and diagnosis based on the DSM-5 Parent/Guardian-
