Innovation is the main source to a successful business, big and small.
Without innovative there is no change and a company will struggle to find a way to
grow. In this essay I will talk about the information I learned about innovation
through my interview. I interviewed Kristopher Walski;he has been the District
Director for a company that provides support to developmentally disabled
individuals for the past 6 years. I have worked as his office coordinator for 3 years
and continue to learn from him every day. Through the interview process I received
some good information about service innovation.
Effective innovation comes from adding value that competing companies do
not have. In order to successfully implement innovative changes, the company
must listen to their staff members, and consumer opinions. The consumers
experiences form their opinions and can lead to potential innovation. It is also
important to hear what the staff members have to say since they have experience
with the services you provide. They may see something wrong with the current way
of doing things which can help motivate an innovative change in the company. It is
very important to look into the opinions of the consumers and staffmembers to find
the best solution for change because they have firsthand experience with the
services the company provides. Innovation will always be necessary and without it
there is little room for success. Not all change is good that is why it is important to
focus on the core needs for a more effective innovation process.
A major challengefaced with innovation is the consumer’s view of the
changes. The most important aspect of innovation is customer satisfaction, because
without that the change is pointless. The consumer already has a certain amount of
