Understanding Satisfactory Academic Program
Satisfactory Academic Program (SAP) is standards ensure that you are successfully
completing your coursework and can continue to purse your studies with EGCC. Financial aid is

progress by completing 2/3 of your attempted hours of school. Keeping a good grade point

Dropping out of a course a student can drop a course from their schedule during the first
two weeks of a regular semester, first eight days of an 8-week session, and first week of summer
mini sessions. The business office will refund, where applicable, a student fees during the first
two weeks of a regular semester, first eight days of an 8-week session, or first week of summer
mini session, according to the established refund schedule.
Withdrawing from course students may withdraw from a course starting the third week
through the 10th week of a regular semester. The student must obtain an advisor signature on the
schedule change form and submit the form to the Steubenville Campus Registrar’s Office or
complete the form by seeing an enrollment specialist at the Youngstown Campus of processing.
Dropping a course may affect a student’s financial aid so all students encouraged to check
financial aid prior to dropping a course.
