My position is the State Environment Director:

1.Shut down offshore drilling

My decision: As the director of the state environment i think that we need to follow the

team's decision and halt all offshore drilling until things can be proven make to normal.

Team decision: All offshore drilling should be stopped and halted until numbers of

wildlife and human population are guaranteed to be safe and back to normal.



2.Shut down offshore production pending investigation of all platforms

My decision: I think that we need to keep things closed until it is safe for every being and

the numbers of wildlife are back to normal. This includes not letting a huge number of

tourists in to help regulate that and get it back to normal.

Team decision: Our decision is to shut down offshore production until our investigation

is over so we know what caused the spill and how to effectively stop it.



3. Or shut down only platforms

My decision: I agree with the teams decision on closing everything not just the platforms.

Because if we close down everything things will get better faster and we will get to the

bottom of the problem easier and more clearly.

Team decision: We are shutting down everything until the problem is resolved
