Many times, when one is confronted with new and different ways of thinking one may be
skeptical of how it will all work out. As the path becomes clearer and what one is able
toaccomplish while juggling everything else.Although applying what one has learned to daily
life is difficult.Psychology plays a part in many aspects of the daily life of everyone including
personal, academic, and professional.
Personal Life
Self-esteem has been an issue in life for a long period of life. Struggling to value one’s
self has been a battle for years as the value one believes for the self translates over to the value
one places on others as well. If one does not see the value of self to others, then the overall value
of self goes down for one’s self as well (Grison& Gazzaniga, 2019). Stress as well diminishes
the value of self-esteem as one can not over come when one feels stressed already. Stress
management does not come easy to some as stress is a part of daily personal life when tasks are
not being handled the way the task may have been planned to work out. One may bring down
their own self-esteem and self-worth as one continues to see only the negative in one’s personal
life instead of looking for the good.By simply changing the perspective of how one sees
themselves and creating a positive from the negativethat has happened one can deal with the
internal dialog that has been created due to the negative.Overcoming the negative dialog that one
internalizes when one is has low self-esteem is hard to overcome (Singer, 2013). But overcoming
the negativity in one’s personal life can help overcome obstacles in one’s professional life as
well.
Professional Life
The negativity from a work environment is different as it is internalized and is in turn
