Assignment 03 Module code:COM3706 Module title: Communication Research Semester:02 INTRODUCTION The assignment is going to deal with a qualitative and quantitative, cross-sectional study to describe the content of the articles, the framing of the articles, and interpretation of the messages contained in the ten articles from the SowetanLIVE online newspaper that covered incidents of femicide and gender-based violence in South Africa no later than 2017 to date. SowetanLIVE is an online version of the Sowetan daily newspaper that was found in 1981 and is owned by Tiso Blackstar group which was previously known as Avusa & Times Media Group. The online content is free, but the hardcopy is sold (SowetanLIVE.sa). 1 MAIN ISSUE
