Terminologies:
 Pulp horn: Projections in the roof of the pulp chamber.
 Furcation Canal: Accessory canal Located on the
furcation area of multi rooted teeth.
o Significance: Can be pathway of infection from pulp to
periodontium.
 Lateral Canal: Minute canal extends in lateral direction
from pulp to periodontal membrane.
o Significance: Minor source of nutrient supply.
 Apical Foramen: Constricted opening near the apex of
root canal.
o Significance: Through which neurovascular bundle
supply the internal content of pulp cavity.
 Canal orifice: Opening in the floor of pulp chamber
leading to root canals
