upward heat movement with air.
Radiation - ✅✅Transmission of electromagnetic rays through space, emitted by materials with
temperature above absolute zero.
Solid fueled salamanders are only permitted for - ✅✅heating newly poured concrete in buildings
undergoing construction including formwork as well as steel structures.
Solid fueled fired heaters are required - ✅✅at least 10 feet from the combustible tarpaulins or other
combustible enclosures
COF - ✅✅Supervises coke-fueled salamanders, limited to 50 units, and ensures suitable fire
extinguishers near kerosene blower.

National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health (NIOSH) Recommended Exposure Limit (REL) for
carbon monoxide is? - ✅✅of 35ppm (Parts per million) over 8 hours, ceiling limit of 200ppm.
Refueling operations - ✅✅Shall be conducted in accordance with Fire Code Section 3405, with
heaters shut down and cool to the touch.
