Introduction
This paper is devoted to my personal and professional development as a postgraduate
student of project management. It is based on the Rave Advanced Leadership Framework
(RALF) created by Ravensbourne University (2025) to evaluate my existing strengths and
weaknesses in terms of business, creative, and technology clusters. The model assists in
recognizing the abilities required to be a good performer in the workplace and handle
complicated tasks and projects. Grant (2022) states that knowledgeable project managers who
are aware of their competencies make superior choices and lead more efficiently. This reflection
describes my areas of skill weakness, areas of development need, and actions I can take to
advance my leadership ability.
1. Self-Assessment and Gap Analysis
I also evaluated my skills in the fields of business, creativity, and technology through the
Rave Advanced Leadership Framework (RALF) and determined my strengths and weaknesses
(Ravensbourne University, 2025).
I score very high in written communication and organisation in the business cluster,
which is gained due to the work on the course and engineering. Nevertheless, I do not excel in
verbal communication, particularly making presentations with confidence to various people. My
experience in the UK has taught me that it is necessary to speak clearly and professionally.
According to Grant (2022), it is one of the main development areas as the credibility of the
leadership is based on effective communication.
