o Fase 1: Tellen via herkennen
- In 1x zien welk getal  2,3 gelijk herkennen

o Fase 2: Akoestisch tellen
- Opzeggen getallen in vaste volgorde
- Geen inhoudelijke betekenis
o Fase 3: A-synchroon tellen
- Via telrij, maar niet precies aanwijzen
- Aantikken en optellen niet gelijk
o Fase 4: Synchroon
- Aanwijzen en tellen is juist
- Één-op-één relatie
o Fase 5: Resultatief tellen
Hiervoor moet je 4 dingen kunnen:
- Principe vaste volgorde
- Één-op-één principe
- Abstractie principe – andere vorm
- Kardinaal principe – na tellen weet je de hoeveelheid
o Fase 6: verkort tellen
- Met sprongen, doortellen, terugtellen

Betekenis getallen
aantal: hoeveelheid (5 appels)
telgetal: de zoveelste (7e)
meetgetal: geeft maat aan (4 meter)
naamgetal: rugnummer 14, snelweg A2
rekengetal: formeel getal in som (6+3=9)
