5. STORAGE: The media and devices used to record and hold data and programs permanently.

Examples: RAM, ROM, hard drives, CD-ROMS, DVDs, USB Drives. They all hold information that was processed.


6. INTERNET: A global communication network that allows most computers to exchange information.

A group of computers and servers that are connected to each other.



7. WWW: World Wide Web.

A system of interlinked hypertext and multimedia documents contained on the Internet.
8. URL: Uniform Resource Locator

The address of a document or other file accessible to the Internet.

9. COMPUTER NETWORK: Is a group of computers linked together to share data and resources.
