🌱 UNIT 1 – INTRODUCTION TO BASIC HUMAN ASPIRATIONS

🧩 SECTION 1: WHAT ARE HUMAN ASPIRATIONS?

🌟 Simple Meaning

Aspiration means something we deeply wish for.
Every human wants to be happy and feel good all the time — that’s our
basic aspiration.

So, no matter what we do — study, earn, travel, eat — we do it because
we want to be happy and prosperous.

🧠 Exam-Oriented Definition

Human aspiration refers to the constant desire for happiness and
prosperity in life.

 Happiness = inner satisfaction and peace.

 Prosperity = having enough physical facilities for a comfortable
life.

Mnemonic:
💭 “HP = Happiness + Prosperity.”

💖 SECTION 2: TWO BASIC HUMAN ASPIRATIONS

Every person wants two things in life —

1️⃣ Continuous Happiness – peace, love, and joy inside.
2️⃣ Continuous Prosperity – having enough food, clothes, shelter, and
comfort outside.

We need both to live a balanced life.

Example:
If you have a big house but no peace of mind → not real happiness.
If you are peaceful but don’t have food → not complete prosperity.

Mnemonic: “Happy Heart + Healthy Home = Full Life.”

📘 Exam Tip:

, To write in an exam —

“Continuous happiness refers to the state of inner contentment, while
continuous prosperity means possessing sufficient physical facilities. Both
are necessary for human fulfillment.”

🧩 SECTION 3: HAPPINESS VS PROSPERITY

Happiness Prosperity

Inner feeling Outer condition

Related to mind/self Related to body/facilities

Comes from right Comes from right utilization of
understanding resources

Long-term peace Short-term comfort

Mnemonic:
🧘‍♀️
“Mind = Happiness, Money = Prosperity.”

🌿 SECTION 4: HOW TO ACHIEVE HAPPINESS & PROSPERITY

We achieve them by right understanding, right relationships, and
right utilization of resources.

1️⃣ Right Understanding – Knowing what’s truly important in life (not just
money).
2️⃣ Right Relationships – Living with trust and respect with family and
others.
3️⃣ Right Utilization – Using resources wisely, not wasting them.

Mnemonic: “3 Rights → Understanding, Relationship, Utilization.”

💡 Example:

If you know your goal (right understanding), you treat others well (right
relationship), and use things properly (right utilization) — you’ll be happy
inside and outside!

💫 SECTION 5: UNDERSTANDING THE HUMAN BEING

A human being = Self + Body
